JoAnna Tamarazzo is the Founder & Creative Director of JT Collective Media Marketing & P.R., a communications professional, social media manager, and creative strategist known for her work in storytelling, community-driven marketing, and brand development. A graduate of Mercy University with a degree in Communications, JoAnna blends academic training with hands-on industry experience across hospitality, small businesses, education, and community-based organizations. In 2024, she founded JoAnna Tam Collective Media Marketing, a community-centered media and marketing brand that supports businesses in the health, hospitality, fitness, and lifestyle industries throughout Westchester County. Her work focuses on helping brands strategize their messaging, socialize their presence within the community, and monetize through intentional digital storytelling. Through JT Collective Media, she provides services including social media management, photography and event coverage, branding and content development, website and digital asset support, and community public relations with local business spotlights. Her collaborations include businesses such as Toscana on Main, Tuck’d Away Bar & Grill, Brightside Daycare, fitness professionals, entrepreneurs, and hospitality brands throughout the region. JoAnna previously served as Communications Manager for Brightside Daycare in Yonkers, where she led the full digital and brand launch of the organization by building the website, developing social media strategy, producing photography and video content, implementing Google Workspace systems, designing email marketing templates, and guiding community outreach and brand education for the business owner. Known for her ability to bring structure, clarity, and intentional strategy to creative projects, JoAnna approaches each collaboration with a balance of strategic thinking, creative execution, community awareness, and long-term relationship building. As an MBA candidate focusing on marketing, she is committed to continuing her professional development while scaling JT Collective Media into a leading community-focused marketing and communications agency, with additional credentials, collaborations, and portfolio work available on her LinkedIn.
In 2023, Explore Eastchester NY was created as a community storytelling and media platform dedicated to highlighting the people, businesses, and organizations that shape the Town and Villages of Eastchester, Tuckahoe, and Bronxville. Founded by a team of local creatives and communications professionals, the platform focuses on documenting and promoting the community through strategic social media storytelling, photography, and digital media. Working alongside Creative Director Stephen Bryson, the initiative captures local businesses, restaurants, first responders, community events, and civic initiatives that contribute to the character of the region. The mission of Explore Eastchester is to educate, connect, and elevate the community through authentic media coverage, digital storytelling, and strategic marketing that supports local economic growth and civic engagement. Through social media strategy, photography, content development, business features, community spotlights, and collaborative media campaigns, Explore Eastchester highlights restaurants, retailers, healthcare professionals, educators, students, and public service leaders who make the community thrive. By partnering with local establishments, hospitality brands, and community organizations, the platform serves as a bridge between residents and the local business ecosystem while preserving the personality, history, and culture that make Eastchester unique. As a student-driven communications initiative rooted in community engagement, Explore Eastchester continues to expand its reach through creative media collaboration and professional storytelling throughout Westchester County.
